LJDOCSMA.TXT - DOCSMASH.EXE 3.0 CODES FOR THE HPLJ II PRINTER ------------------------------------------------------------- The following printer control codes have given exceptional results from DOCSMASH 3.0 using the Hewlett Packard Laser Jet II printer with default settings and no added cartridges. The codes were optimized for legibility instead of "smashing". It may therefore be possible to get more printing onto a piece of paper using DOCSMASH 3.0. However, some loss in legibility would occur. The DOCSMASH results with these codes are amazing. Thanks again to David Rettger for his excellent program. David Rettger is hereby given all rights I may have to this upload. He is free to use the information in any way he chooses, without restriction of any type. Enjoy everybody! David wrote a fantastic program that is now in the PATH command of the two PC's I use the most. Please try it. And pay the shareware fee he requests. It is minimal and may help keep a very creative programmer producing new products of the same quality as DOCSMASH. I certainly want to see this occur and hope that you agree with me.
